Thank you so much for creating the party atmosphere that we had envisioned for my sister’s bridal shower. You made all the girls feel comfortable from beginning to end. We couldn’t keep anyone off the dance floor from our youngest guests, including my three year old daughter, up until my 80+ grandmother. Your choice of music and use of props were perfect.

Mariyah’s performance was excellent, she added some special magic to our reception! Original intention was for viewing entertainment only, however toward the end of her dancing all of our guests were on the dance floor having a grand time, she rocked the reception!
This was the perfect way to celebrate a piece of my husband’s Middle Eastern culture.
In addition to really wanting a belly dancer for our Persian-American-Croatian blended wedding, I really wanted to do a solo belly dance performance of my own. No one knew (not even my husband) of the solo performance. Mariyah therefore not only put on an amazingly beautiful performance with a ton of impact but she also met with me several times for lessons and choreography.Because of the secretive nature of my performance, she was very flexible with her time which I really appreciated. She is a wonderful and patient teacher. As for the reception, everyone I spoke to were RAVING about the belly dancer. Even my somewhat jaded middle-eastern friends who have seen dozens of belly dancers were impressed. One of my favorite belly dancing props are the “wings” so I asked her if she could incorporate that in the performance and she did! She even asked what my wedding colors were so her outfit coordinated! Amazing. There are many different “types” of belly dance and Mariyah is well-versed in all of them. Her performance was not just a highlight for my guests but for my husband and family as well. I can’t wait to experience it again when I get my wedding video!
Only 1 word to describe Mariyah AMAZING! Mariyah perform for my sister’s engagement party and she did a AMAZING job she perform her dance and dance with the guest. She made the party alive! I will definitely book her again for MY own wedding:)
Mariyah gave a wonderful performance at our christening party! She is a great dancer, and everyone – adults and children – were all impressed. she was great at involving the audience in the dancing and really got the party going. She also gave a lesson for all the young girls 4-8 at the end of the performance, which was a great hit – even our 16 month old had a go! We recommend her without any hesitation for any family party
