Mariyah is an acclaimed professional bellydance artist, performer and instructor based in New York City known for her elegant, distinctive and soulful interpretations of Oriental dance. Mariyah has earned awards from respected dance competitions, taught workshops across the US abroad and has performed countless shows in nightclubs, private events, theater and concert stages. Her professionalism, skill and graceful, engaging presence have made her a highly sought after entertainer, solo artist, and company member. Mariyah has been an active member of the Dalia Carella Dance Collective since 2001, classical Arabic music and dance ensemble, Zikrayat since 2009 and has most recently joined NYC’s Bellyqueen dance company.

Layla Isis is a leading, professional bellydancer based in New York City. She has performed in theaters, concert halls, nightclubs and event spaces in the region and around the world as a highly sought after solo dance artist and troupe member and has also appeared in films, television and music videos. Her dancing style has been called “sophisticated and elegant,” known for her dynamic hip work, powerful shimmies, and expressive, vibrant performances. Layla is an active member of The Dalia Carella Dance Collective, and the classical Arabic music and dance ensemble Zikrayat. She also worked for many years under the tutelage of Jehan Kamal in her company Goddessdance, and school, The Temple of Jehan.
