Brooklyn Belly Dance Classes Saturdays 2:15-3:30pm February 23rd – March 30
Learn all the essentials of bellydance technique! The focus of this class will be on proper posture, isolations and body lines. Each class will include movement drills and short, fun combinations. This class is perfect for new beginners with no experience as well as intermediate dancers who wish to further refine fundamental movement technique. We will also be working on some introductory veil in this series!

Class Rates: $16 for a single class, $66 for 6 bellydance classes (valid 1/5-2/9 only) or $130 10-class card (good for 6 months any dance or yoga classes)

The 2013 Zlatne Uste Golden Festival
Tuesday, January 15th, 2013
New York’s only music and dance festival of its kind celebrates 28 years of live Balkan, Roma (“Gypsy”) music and beyond. The Festival is hosted by Zlatne Uste Brass Band and features dozens of live bands playing on FOUR stages.
An incredible grass roots event.
Mariyah and Sherine will dance with Zikrayat at the festival at 9pm in the Rainbow room
