*Please note that while this class is open to all levels of dance, floorwork can be strenuous. You should have reasonable comfort getting up and down from the floor and sitting in different positions. Please mind your body and and never push into any movement that hurts. Remember there are many ways to adapt a movement and not every move is appropriate for every body. There are many options in dance and floorwork that can give the same effect. 

You may want to bring:
-Legwarmers or knee pads to cushion the knees
– Legwarmers or cut off socks to protect the tops of the feet 
– A notebook and pen
– A dance practice skirt to practice manipulating during floor moves
