Brooklyn Belly Dance Class at Shambhala

Brooklyn Belly Dance Classes Saturdays 2:15-3:30pm October 19th – November 9th

This 4 week special topic technique session will be an introduction to dancing with finger cymbals!
The class will cover our regular focus of proper posture, isolations, body lines and bellydance movement vocabulary while introducing finger cymbals and Middle Eastern rhythms.

This class is appropriate for beginners as well as intermediate dancers who are new to finger cymbals.
Please bring zills to class if you have them. Some sets will be available for use during class.

Class Rates: $16 for a single class, $44 for 4 bellydance classes (valid 10/19-11/9 only) or $130 10-class card (good for 6 months any dance or yoga classes)

Brooklyn Belly Dance Classes Saturdays 2:15-3:30pm September 7th- October 12th

Learn all the essentials of bellydance technique! The focus of this class will be on proper posture, isolations and body lines. Each class will include movement drills and short, fun combinations. This class is perfect for new beginners with no experience as well as intermediate dancers who wish to further refine fundamental movement technique. We will also be working on some introductory veil in this series!

Class Rates: $16 for a single class, $66 for 6 bellydance classes (valid 9/7-10/12 only) or $130 10-class card (good for 6 months any dance or yoga classes)
