Brooklyn Belly Dance Classes Saturdays 2:15-3:30pm February 23rd – March 30
Learn all the essentials of bellydance technique! The focus of this class will be on proper posture, isolations and body lines. Each class will include movement drills and short, fun combinations. This class is perfect for new beginners with no experience as well as intermediate dancers who wish to further refine fundamental movement technique. We will also be working on some introductory veil in this series!

Class Rates: $16 for a single class, $66 for 6 bellydance classes (valid 1/5-2/9 only) or $130 10-class card (good for 6 months any dance or yoga classes)

Veil work is one of the most ethereal, magical and sensuous aspects of Bellydance. Join Mariyah, known for her signature romantic and expressive veil style, to learn not only manipulations of fabric but also techniques and dimensions to use the veil as true extension of your dance. Combinations taught will express an array of moods and possibilities for dancing with the veil.
Please bring a 3-4 yard silk veil. Hand-dyed silk veils will also be available for purchase.
